Alexa Lash is an award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, event host & curator from Miami, Florida. Voted Miami New Times’ 2024 Songwriter of the Year, she continues to write and create music that touches on relationships, mental health, and all the nuances of the human experience. Her sound is a unique mix of pop, rock, soul and spoken word influences that harkens back to women-led bands of the 90s, but with a vibe and energy all her own. Her voice and music is reminiscent of Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Florence Welch, and Adele. Her full band is known as Alexa & the Old-Fashioneds.
