After over thirty five years of festivals, performing with bands and backing several artists, Ron and Bari have returned to the stage as a duo. Their musical journey includes the very first Will McLean Festival, the earliest Gamble Roger’s Festivals, The South Florida Folk Festival, as well as over thirty years of appearances at The Florida Folk Festival in White Springs. It was their profound honor to serve as primary members of the Frank and Ann Thomas “House and Festival Band” for over two decades.
As a duo, as well as with the well known band, “The Roadside Revue”, they have criss-crossed Florida, the Carolinas,… even traveling as far as Seattle, Washington to perform at the Deception Pass Music Festival along side of such Luminaries as Nickel Creek. Ron also enjoyed a Florida tour with Tom Paxton as his sideman playing guitar and mandolin.
Each “Ron and Bari” festival set or concert experience involves laughter, stories, spontaneous introspective commentary, and toe tapping fun. Our goal and honor is to send you home feeling happier, smarter, and maybe even better looking than you were when you arrived.
For this appearance, Ron and Bari are excited and honored to be joined by their longtime friend, Stan Geberer. Stan is a true harmonica virtuoso and an accomplished songwriter. Noted for his soulful spirit and masterful harmonica style, with influences from Will Scarlett, Sonny Terry and Phil Wiggins, his talents are always in demand. He has appeared on countless stages and recordings with noted artists from Florida and beyond. Stan is always a welcome addition on the stages where he appears.
After completing a busy, exciting, and successful 8 month 2025/2026 concert and festival schedule, (which included a wonderful 75 minute set anchoring the Sunday evening main stage performance to close the 3 day Gamble Rogers Festival in May), Ron and Bari are currently taking a little rest, reconnecting with family and friends, playing some local neighborhood events and jam sessions, kayaking, and yes.. sleeping late.. in their own bed! We cannot think of a better way to kick off our 2026/2027 season than with this very special beach side concert, and are we ever excited! We are tanned, rested and ready, and if that isn’t enough, we will again be joined by our very good friend, one of the best harmonica players you will ever hear, the one and only Stan Geberer. This is going to be a wonderful, fun afternoon, and we can’t wait to see you there…
House concerts offer a unique chance to experience live music up close in a relaxed atmosphere. Seating is limited (60 max).
