He is a proud member and serves as an officer on the board of the Children’s Music Network (CMN).

In addition to his focus on children’s music he is also a co-founder of the Community Hotline for Incarcerated People (CHIP) and the producer of the pioneering, recently released “Bending the Bars” album, featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and distributed by FREER Music. Mr. Noam

Mr. Noam has been a song leader and educator for over 25 years in a variety of settings including preschools, play groups, summer camps, libraries, and therapeutic wilderness camps for at-risk youth. He is also a proud member of the Children’s Music Network (CMN) and has worked with children from preschool through high school in both formal and informal educational settings.

When his child was a year old, Noam created “Stories in the Park,” a free weekly story time and play group which met in different parks around Lake Worth, FL. As the group evolved, several families decided to create “Enriched Playgroup” – a unique cooperative preschool based on child-directed play – and chose Noam as the teacher/facilitator. Parents appreciated Noam’s gentle ways and calming effect on the classroom environment, and the children truly benefited from the consistency and structure that he provided……and there was lots of music. Noam’s knowledge and understanding of child development is instrumental in the way he responds to their needs. His ability to connect with kids is grounded not only in his playfulness, but also in his deep respect for children – reflected in the thoughtful and patient manner in which he communicates with them.

Grant Livingston

Singer/Songwriter Grant Livingston has been advocating for Florida’s environment since the 1980s. He is passionate about protecting our natural heritage. He wants his audience to laugh, to think, to sing-along, to believe, and ultimately to be the ones who make a difference for our future.

Upbeat, with an offbeat sense of humor, Grant has written about the Everglades, Melaleuca trees, pythons, armadillos, barnacles, and native plants, and the people who have shaped Florida history. His musical style draws on ragtime, country-blues, swing, Vaudeville and Tin Pan Alley. He’s got a bit of 1960s troubadour in him, too. Grant’s songs appeal to the child in grownups, and to the adult in kids. He often plays for schools, museums, and other children’s programs.

Teaching and mentoring songwriters is important to Grant. He has taught songwriting at Miami-Dade College and to kids and adults at Folk Festivals and other venues throughout Florida.
