THE BROTHERS KING
The Brothers King was born out of years of Eric & Scott (coincidentally brothers with the last name King) navigating through countless musical projects. Out of the spirit of humor and the influence of groups like They Might Be Giants and Flight of the Conchords, they set out to write silly songs that were relevant, witty, and campy. However, many of these tunes went from being initially funny and light-hearted to rather touching, dark, and even frightening at times. With nothing more than some acoustic guitars, voices, a penny whistle, and occasional percussion, they lay it out down like nobody’s business. That is, unless your business also requires you to lay it down.

creates a bond with their audience. Hailing from South Florida, the band is comprised of
singer/songwriter/guitarists Mike Matthews and Daniel Wolpin, singer/songwriter/bassist Colin
Fequa, and percussionist Manuel Pila. In these days of computer-generated musicmaking,
