Come join the South Florida Folk and Acoustic Music Club for our Acoustic Underground Music Series.

Jamie Granger is a singer-songwriter from Florida whose soulful and endearing lyrics explore a wide range of topics from renaissance paintings to swimming pools to lost cowboys. He was raised on the island of Montserrat and worked for a time on a cattle ranch in Montana. His self-titled debut album was recorded and produced in Nashville, Tennessee, by Jack Shawde and Diane Ward.

Our very own Lou Dominguez will be opening the show.

Lou Dominguez – “Hanging at the Luna Star”

You might be reminded of legends like Seeger, Springsteen or Ochs when spending time with Dominguez’s music, and the inclusion of accordion, strings, sitar, dobro and mandolin only adds to the appeal.

Lou’s New Album

‘Hanging at the Luna Star’

As a tribute to my favorite place to hang out and to play music, The Luna Star Cafe in North Miami, FL., the record is called “Hanging at The Luna Star.” The musicians who play on this record regularly record in Nashville and in Muscle Shoals.

The songs range from the auto-biographical, – ‘Hank Songs at the Luna Star’ and ‘Once Upon a Time’; to the political, – ‘United States of Debt’ and my own version of Tracy Chapman’s ‘Talkin’ Bout a Revolution’; I’ve also written about relationships, like ‘Just Anyone and ‘The Runner Up’; the environment, ‘Our Maldives’; addiction, ‘Last Time Again’; and even a song about writing songs, ‘Feels Like Saying Amen’.There is a little something for everyone on this record!

$8 members $10 non-members. All CASH.
